As a new writer, it is my aim to improve my craft starting with this completion of a fourteen-year-old promise I made to my late wife Deb to finish the story you are about to read, Miracles and Meltdowns!

Part of what Deb and I hoped to achieve was not just a cautionary education for patients, but also a learning opportunity for their doctors. The healthcare industrial complex is exacting with haphazard precision, a devastating toll not only within your practice of medicine but also within the homes of your patients. It is counterproductive to all the care you are attempting to provide and reasons you devoted your life to becoming a physician in the first place!
